Ugh, that's a tough one. You could get your hubby-to-be to suggest the place you like to his mom. Maybe coming from him she'd consider it? I'm lucky enough to have in-laws that agree to pay AND let me pick! But look at it this way, at least it's just the rehearsal dinner and not the reception. Worst comes to worst, you go with her place and still have a good time with your *Almost* Husband!
