I am going to be the one that disagrees with what everyone else has said. I think that you should have some say in where it is at. Now with that being said I think that you should take into consideration a budget that they are trying to keep.

Here is why I think this. If the bride's parents pay for the wedding (ceremony & reception) do they plan it all and the bride and groom have no say? I know (I am lucky) that my parents are paying for our wedding, but they didnt pick the place to have it. We took into consideration the the amount that the place cost along with the cost of everything else. For this reason I think that the bride and groom should have a say.
