The site I have found so far that I like is $950 for a weekday, that includes inside table and chairs. If we get if for a weekend it goes up to $1,600 or something like that. Oh, and it is a wedding/reception site. The reason I like it so much is because of the foyer! I want to take pictures in the foyer, so that is my main reason for liking it. lol I thought about renting just the foyer for a while, but that will end up being even more expensive in the long run because there is a museum that I want to have my pictures taken at also (not on the wedding day) and I will have to pay extra for that too, so that is kind of where that little extra splurge of money was going.

My mom is thinking that I should get the fancy place for the ceremony, and then have the reception at my grandmother's church. (My mom had her reception on my grandmothers church, when she married my stepdad.) I am not sure it will be any cheaper to do this because I believe they rent the mansion out by the day/evening instead of by the hours. If I could save money doing this then I may seriously consider it. (The chairs that the church don't all match, but hopefully they won't pay to much attention. lol)
