I'm both ways here, the rehersal dinner is suppose to be the in-laws thing. Now whether they are nice and let you have your opinion in on it, is the right thing but.. Hopefully you have chosen the reception site and the wedding ceremony site... depending how strong you feel about wanting the rehersal where you want it I'd suggest mentioning something to your future husband and saying he should confront them about it and just nicely say you would like to see the rehersal dinner here...
