I packed my bags for what i thought was a spur of the moment weekend trip to San Antonio, Texas. When we got there we checked into the Hilton Riverwalk. He told me to get dressed for dinner. I changed into a dress and hills. We had about an hour to kill before dinner so I suggested we just do down and walk around on the riverwalk. Once we started walking my feet started hurting. He told me to go into a couple of stores on one side of the riverwalk and he would go check out some other stores, we were trying to find me some flip flops. I had no luck and when he came back, he came without shoes but he did bring me a beautiful red rose.
It was getting close to time to eat so we walked over to the restaurant but we were still a little early so we went over to the bar and ordered a couple of drinks. They then called our name, "Sweet, party of 2". We went out side and there were two dinner boats. One set up for the regular 20 people and one set up for 2 - US!! That was very exciting. As we were cruising the riverwalk,people were yelling at us and taking our pictures like we were someone famous. Scott told me that when we were done with our dessert, the boat was going to drop us off at our hotel. Instead they dropped us off at a place called Marriage Island. It is a Huge tree on the riverwalk and the roots of the tree make up an island. Scott proposed to me there. I was very excited and suprised. He asked me if I wanted to go back to the room and change before we went to the comedy club. I said, "yes". When we got back to the room there were red rose petals from the door all the way to the bed. They were also on the bed in the shape of a huge heart. This was my Perfect Proposal!
