Default Re: Gift Registry Etiquette?

It's kind of controversial. Younger people who depend on the internet (such as ourselves!) find it easier and convenient. But then there are older people who prefer tradition and might be offended that you're just asking for cash. They like to give a gift that you and your husband will use during your marriage, generally keepsakes like picture frames, candlestick holders, etc. etc. I manage the Home dept at the Dillard's in my town so I hear about this stuff ALL the time. I deal with bridal registry stuff every other day. It might be a good idea to use the wishing well as one option, but also register for a couple of items at a local store to please the rest of your guests.
