I think that it should look great. I wasn't sure how it was going to look, but because I have a larger chest, I wanted the extra support. I would suggest to go into the store and try it on. Once I tried on my dress (4 days after he popped the question) I fell in love with it right away and wanted to buy it then. Trying it on earlier also lets you now what areas to work on to look great in your dress ( I am trying to tone my arms... all else is pretty much covered.
