Default Re: Reception Ideas

Hey blondie!

I'd just put your mints in small glass votives or candy bowls. Guests will probably just munch on them the entire evening, so having bowls that you can easily refill would be best. I know I've had lots of friends do this. Sometimes they only put them out when the food is being served too, either way.

I was in a very pretty wedding where the head table was decorated with fancy dishes, like colored goblets and napkins and then they used gold wedding favor tins with ribbon around them for our treats. Oh, and they also had lots of wine! I asked where my friend got the favor tins, and she said Jean M. Not to steal other people's ideas or anything, but I'm thinking I'm gonna do that for my head table too, but use personalized stickers on the top that same our names and wedding date instead of ribbon. Then it'll be a fun keepsake!

To decorate the front of the table, we're puting white cloth around the outside and hanging pre-slung christmas lights underneath. Then I'm using beads that coordinate with the ones around my centerpieces to hold up each corner. We're also having custom flower arrangements (fake, but they look real) to put on each side of the table. I can't wait to see what it looks like altogether!

What are your colors?
