We are making a charitable contribution in lieu of traditional wedding favors. I have seen it at a few other weddings and it was well accepted by all the guests. With traditional wedding favors, many guests don’t take them and I personally feel it ends up being a waste of money. At least with a donation you know your money is going to good use.

My fiancé and I are donating to the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation at UCLA. They are a great organization and they made it really easy to donate. They are also providing us with favor cards that we can use at our reception. So that way guests do have something tangible to take with them.
