My Proposal
We were on our first vacation together to Duluth, Minnesota. A few weeks before we left he told me he was going to buy me a model sailboat as a souvenir. We were driving along the shore of the lake one day and stopped at a senic overlook to take pictures. We walked down to the water and after a few minutes he told me he wished we had better weather (it had been raining all day) because he was hoping the sun would be out to make the moment perfect. I figured he was talking about having the sun shining on the lake for out pictures, but then he said, "I didn't buy you a sailboat, but I did buy you something else that rhymes with dingy (another word for sailboat apparently. I did not know this.)" So i turned around and he had the box open in his hand and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes!
