My something old and something blue:

One of my FSIL's best friends is a jewelry designer. She designs one-of-a-kind jewelry and I had my bridal jewelry done by her. Even though it's brand new and designed just for me, she actually uses all kinds of really unique vintage beads, so that she builds a 'something old' right into your jewelry.

Blue kind of really doesn't go with my dress, so she put just one, tiny little super rare blue diamond bead into the necklace, right next to the clasp - so it's a really unique, super rare and special something blue, but it's tiny so it doesn't interfere with the overall look of the necklace.

She's really awesome to work with, she takes tons of time with her clients and she makes stuff that is just so amazing that I'm on a mission to help other brides and help my designer's business by telling everyone about her.
