Hi I'm new here and have a wedding coming up soon on July 19. I have this fear about cheap weddings. Everyone has a budget but I have been to several weddings where it was just plain obvious they were doing it as cheaply as possible and made it into a fundraiser than anything. Its my pet peeve.

What's the worse cheap wedding you have ever been to?

The cheapest one I thought that I went to was held at their family's farm with only 15 people invited (because the less people to feed the less cost). The bride asks: How can I tell people that I am getting married, want gifts but don't want them to come?
