I am hoping I can get some advice on this topic. I have 2 really good friends from college that I had to choose between to be my maid of honor. I decided to go with my friend who I can always depend on and is just a truely good friend no matter what. And since graduation she has been the one I have remained the closest with. Also helping the decision was that my other friend moved to Arizona so all the maid of honor duties would be harder for her. Anyway, I went ahead and asked my friend that I am closer with to be my maid of honor and she said yes. My other friend saw it through a website and finally confronted me about it. She was upset that I didn't tell her about it. I'm not sure what to think, I felt it would be sort of a slap in the face if I called one day just to tell her she wasn't going to be my maid of honor. Our friendship isn't ruined or anything, but I just want some opinions and advice on how you would have handled the situation. Did I do the right thing? Should I have called her to tell her who I had chosen? Any advice on this matter will be much appreciated!
