Everyone who knows us knows that everything we do, is with our kids, so we didnt think it would be a huge surprise that we would be planning a family trip as our honeymoon. I have seen many ways to tell guests in the invites that you would prefer money..everyhting form coming out and saying it, to opening a bank account. I thought it might be neat to insert a fun poem...so I sat down and wrote one.. PLEASE tell me you girls's honest opinion on what ya think.. most people have like it...but is it tacky??????
We didn't register-
no gift lists to read-
no gravy boats no toasters-
we have all that we need.
we are two families soon to be one-
we are saving our cash for some family fun.
Our honeymoon will happen-
as a family of four-
as we visit california-
and much much more!
So money would be great, fantastic and grand-
to help us take the boys to Disney Land!!

Hi

May I ask when and where you inserted the poem? You mean with the invite?
Reason why I ask is that I have a fairly similar situation, and I LOVED your idea
