Do you ever ask if you are a bridesmaid?
I have a b/f since high shool that is getting married. She was my maid of honor and I also had a matron of honor in my wedding. She just got engaged 2 weeks ago. She told me she was having 5 bridesmaids, not telling me who or anything. Then, last WED she emailed me that she hadn't done anything about her bridesmaids after I had just asked how planning was going if she had started, etc... FRI an email gets sent out from a friend that she wants to plan this elaborate bachelorette party for my b/f. They are friends since jr. high. Anyway, that makes me think she must have been asked to be the matron of honor b/c usually the bachelorette party is given by the maid/matron of honor. My b/f has no sisters. Anyway, then I get an email 5 days later from my b/f that she's have 2 girls including the one planning the bachelorette party go try on bridesmaid dresses with her.
Now I am totally confused b/c I have not been asked.
My b/f sent me an email telling me to plan on when the wedding is and the rehearsal. (She's getting married in a year) So, am I to think it's "understood" that I am a bridesmaid since she's telling me all this or what? I would never assume anything, but who does that when you aren't apart of it???
I just really need some help - should I email her back and ask or call her and ask or how should I approach it?? thanks...
