Hi Everyone!
My wedding is coming up in August and my maid of honor asked my opinion on throwing a "passion party" bacheorette for me. (I'm so glad she asked first). Have any of you tried this? I know it's pretty tame, but I'm still a little nervous that some of my friends might not be up for it. I decided I would talk to some of the hostesses first and get an idea for them before we choose someone (there are TONS listed at Event Planning, Event Planners ) and I've been making my way down the list. Still, I'd love some suggestions from people who have tried this before. Was it a good idea? Did anyone run out screaming? Is it a good idea to invite family members/sisters/mothers? Thanks, Gina |

I just had my batchelorette party and we started with a Passion Party. I love them. When I hosted my lil sister's batch party 2 years ago I heard about these and of coarse was nervous. (especially cuz' our mom was there & the groom's aunt!!) But what a great thing it turned out to be! So great my best friend became a consultant! (That's who did mine.) Anyway it is not all about 'toys' and uncomfortable stuff- there are things that my 62yr old mom bought- like lotions or solid perfume. We didn't know that first consultant at all- but she made everything so comfortable. No one felt 'out of place' at the first party or at any since then. And NOW if I mention a Passion Party I have girls asking how to have one and I'm not even the consultant! Have fun whatever you do, but I DO recommend a Passion Party!!
