We are also doing the sand ceremony. We are not including our mothers but while i was looking for the actual ceremony words online today I found this...
Including the Moms
(Bride's name) and (Groom's name) You have committed here today to share the rest of your lives with each other. We have witnessed your giving and receiving of rings and the exchange of vows. Now we will observe you create a lasting visual representation of these promises.
At this time I'd like the mothers to come forward to assist us in starting the Sand ceremony, a ceremony of spiritual symbolism.
Our families lay the foundation for our being. As the moms pour the (color) sand we think of the love and encouragement their families gave (Bride's name) and (Groom's name) throughout their lives. This love and support remains as a foundation from which (Bride's name) and (Groom's name) will build their new lives together.
The (insert color) sand represents (Bride's name) and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be. The (insert color) sand represents (Groom's name) and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be.
Your relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand into one container. You will note that the individual colors do not cease to exist, but that there are times when the two are blended. It is this blending that is marriage.

Or you can make it up as you go. That is what I am doing.
Hope this helps.
