I know we all come from different states but I need to know what Justice of Peace rates are in your areas? I am running out of time and can't seem to find a JOP that has reasonable rates and don't know what to do. The lowest I found was $500. and she came with Notary for "life" what's that about? Help! Is that too much?

That seems rediculous to me... I am having my parent's pastor marry my FH and I, and he is doing that and the premarital counsuling for the $50 it cost him for materials. Keep looking arround.

If all you want is a JP wedding, you might also conscider going to a courthouse. I dont know how much they run, but I do know that it is probably a lot less expensive than $500 Best of luck in your search.

the justice of the peace in my area advertised prices of $150-175. I think $500 is way too much. I'd look around some more. Best of luck!
