Do you find it easier to find a dress online? In you opinion what are the pros and cons of buying a dress online?

I think online is a great place to start looking for wedding dresses and get ideas. I am on the fence still about if I would buy a dress online or not. I found a few I really liked from Davids Bridal but they are online only, so in that case I would go to the store, find one similar to it, and try it on. If I like the style then I would probably be okay buying the one online, as long as I was sized in store and knew what size I needed. As far as these other companies, I am a bit more leary. In this day and age it's hard to know what is legit and what isn't. Also, a lot of places have really strict return policies and you might not even be able to return the dress if you get it and decide its not the one for you or it doesn't fit right. I would say make sure you do lots of research before you buy online.

I agree. Online is great for a quick find of what is out there, but you should go visit the store and see the dress in person.

Yeh the dress might looks good in print but when you try it on it looks really bad!!! just like when you go clothes shopping you always try on your clothes before you buy them. Everybody has a different body shape.

I ordered a dress online from a company that custom made wedding dresses. I went to a bridal shop and tried dresses on, found the dress I liked, took a picture, sent it to them, and they made it. The dress I tried on was really expensive but they made it for $230. I look gorgeous in it, and it fits me like a custom gown. So I had an awsome experience with online bridal gowns.

That is great! I know that people are concerned with buying things online. You want to get what you expect so it is hard to trust others to get it right, especially with something as important as a wedding dress.
