Heather, try this website. I found it by fluke and it has some major discounts on dresses. I found the dress I want on it for $500 less than what they want in the store. It also has bridesmaids, flower girls, and accessories. www.houseofbrides.com

Just remember you are going to have to pay for alterations that can run from $75 to $600, but some shops will throw in some of the alterations, so shop around. Also be warry of ebay.

Don't buy a wedding dress from ebay. One that dress might have been altered and then you'll have to pay out to get it to fit. You're better going to that site, someone else posted. Find a dress on there then go to the store and find it and try it on. But also did you ever hear of Deb the clothing store? I know mine has plus size prom dresses that look like wedding dresses. And also you could find some bridesmaid dress that look like wedding dresses too. I read someone if you call around for prices of say djs, caters, halls, etc and say it's a party it's a lot less then if you say wedding. You say wedding and things sky rocket. Even if you go to a dress shop look at the prom dresses. Half of them now a days look like a wedding dress. Good luck.

wow, i went looking around on the sheshopping site, and thats amazing. they didnt have my dress, but they had my designer..and all of their dresses was alot cheaper than on designers website and in the store.
