I bought my dress Monday!! I went to Alfred Angelos and they were great. I got the dress, veil and slip for $600. My stepsister spent over a THOUSAND on her dress (too bad she won't pay for me!!)
So no, I don't think $780 isn't too bad at all. |

I haven't bought my dress yet, but so far all the dresses I like are $1200 and up
But of course I have to find a cheaper one.... I plan on spending 500-600. |

Sometimes the small boutiques can toss in a couple of extras! I got lucky when I went shopping... My dress was originally over $700, I got it on sale for $555, including the veil.... I also picked out my bridesmaid dresses that day, and they got their dresses for $150 (originally $175) That was my tax return put to good use

A friend of mine has been buying a dress online from LittleCoral Wedding Store - Professional Manufacturer of Wedding Dress Bridal Gown, Bridemaids, Flowergirls Dress and she is satisfied with the quality and making time. Most of the dresses sold there are under US$300.00 each, if you have the budget of $500 or more, you may have the chance to get both the dress, bridemaiddress or even some more accessories there. I think it's worth to try since they accept the paypal payments and provide the return or remaking policy.

I went in to Davids Bridal with a dress budget of $500 and came out with a dress that was $ 800....... I found that everything I tried on in my range I didnt like... so I stopped looking at prices....tried tons on, then the one I fell in love with was $800... and like some of the other gals on here said, I caught Davids Bridal in one of their famous sales.. so I saved a bit!!!

My dress cost me $650 with tax and everything, but I caught the boutique during an off-the-rack sale...and my dress just happened to be my perfect size...yay! I actually found my veil at Hobby Lobby (I'm living in the craft stores for this wedding!) for $20. I haven't gotten my tiara yet, but that's next. I also found a slim-line maidenform strapless bra for about $40 online. I'm willing to bet everything will end up being about $800-$900 all told...so we'll see. i'm lucky to have some very wonderful and generous grandparents who are paying for everything!! They're really wonderful and I was the first granddaughter, soo...
That's the low-down on my dress. Makes me wanna go try it on again!:-) |
