I found this website that has beautiful dress from some of the top designers in the business. They sell them at a very inexpensive price. Check out the site if you are thinking if you still haven't found your dress yet.

I got my gown half the price from a bride who got married at our golf club last month. I was her coordinator at the reception area. I just asked her about her designer cuz I fell in love with her dress and she quickly asked me if I'd like to buy her wedding gown (50% off) since she won't be bringing it abroad! I said YES, why not?!
I tried it on a week after her wedding... Luckily, the fit was PERFECT! No need for alteration. I got my gown and complete accessories instantly for only $500!

I originally planned to spend up to $750 on my dress, but ended up spending MUCH LESS! I'm not sure why I started looking for wedding dresses online, but I did. I think it's because I am not near any friends and family and was kind of down about trying on dresses alone. I found a site called Recycle Your Wedding and began looking at the auction items. Some of the items are new and others are old.

I can't believe I bought my dress for $127.50 + $25 for shipping. It's new and still has the tags on it! I swear it's the truth! I bid on the dress and won! It's a dress that I'd already saved as a favorite on David's site. Here is the link to the dress. Recycle Your Wedding, LLC - Buy from Brides! Sell to Brides! It's the actual auction with a picture of the dress.

NO, THIS IS NOT A SPAM MESSAGE! I'm just passing on what worked for me.

All I can say is the Lord is really looking out for me. He makes provisions well beyond what I can imagine and pray for - all the time. Including bringing the man of my dreams into my life.

The dress arrived today and fits almost glove-like. I couldn't be happier. I'm a bit teary-eyed right now, so I'll stop typing. LOL!

I forgot to add one thing. We're getting married twice - once privately (8/8/08) and once for family (8/8/09), so the cost of the dress breaks down to $76.25 per wedding. Wee hoo! If that's not dirt cheap, I don't know what is!

Yeah I'm with you. If I'm only gonna wear the once why spend the money. My fiancee and I are also doing an inexpensive wedding. I'm actually dreading trying to find a dress. I have a low budget and I'm plus size.

I dont think that price is bad at all. But if you want to keep looking I got my dress from bestbridalprices.com and they have all designer dresses at low prices I paid $699.00 for my maggie sottero gown and it came with my veil and shoes for free up to a $120 value.
I also didnt pay any tax or shipping.

You can also try bridalonlinestore.com

Hopes this helps

However, the added halter raised the price to $780. I keep trying to find less expensive dresses, but there's absolutely nothing that appeals to me. I was hoping to keep it under $600, but I really love the halter dress. So, how much did/are you ladies spending on your dresses? Is $780 expensive, or have you ladies found them cheaper? Are there any sites (other than David's Bridal and Mori Lee) that you would recommend I check for reasonably priced dresses?

Thanks so much for your help!
Wow.....I think it's very expensive. In my opinion, a wedding dress costs (maximum) about 5% from total budget of the wedding ceremony.
