Default Second guessing dress

I am new here and would really like to hear your opinions on my dilemma. I have bought a dress for super cheap and i really do like it. Not sure if i love it. I bought it because i did like it, it was onsale, and i didn't want it to not be there if i decided I wanted it later on. Everyone loves me in this dress. FH seen a pic and says that I will look beautiful in this dress and I don't need another one. I guess there are two reasons why i am doubting this dress. I only plan on doing this once and i want to do it up the best i can. I am on a very limited budget. I think it is because i didn't think i could afford a fancier dress so I settled for a dress I sort of liked that i could afford. I did feel pretty in this dress, but I have since seen a few others that i like and can sort of afford (cut major costs in other places). Any way here is the dress I have (this pic has white and pink but mine is white and apple red).
I can't seem to post a pic so here is where to look...

www.debshops.com style number 426682

There are 4 dresses that i can't decide between. I have not tried any of them on yet. So this will be the first thing that I plan on doing. All color accents will be apple red. Again sorry have to visit the website.

Wedding Dresses, Bridesmaid Gowns and Accessories from David's Bridal
styles PE8120, T8615, and T9168 (my fav)

The last one is Mori Lee 2104
Most of these dresses will be about the same cost. if i go with another dress i plan on either selling mine on ebay or donating it to a prom closet for those that cannot afford a dress. I just don't know what to do. I get a little depressed when i think about it because i don't want to spend the extra money but i don't want to have regrets about the dress.
Oh and also we plan on getting married at the JP so I don't want a super fancy dress. I will be wearing whatever dress to the JP and to the reception so everyone can get pics. I even thought of doing one dress for ceremony and one for reception, but I keep going back and forth between all my concerns. Anyone else going through this or have gone through this? Any advice from anyone? Thanks a bunch in advance.

The dress you already bought looks similar to the one that is your favorite from David's Bridal except with a train. I think yours is a very pretty dress so why pay more money for a dress that looks like the one you already have? If you want to dress it up more, maybe get a cathedral length veil or something (great deals on eBay, that's where I got my veil).
If you just don't feel like it is "the one", then by all means, do what you think will make you happy but personally, I think you've made a good decision already...I wish I could have got my dress for such a price!
Good luck and best wishes

I really think I am going to try on the other dresses just to see. But it will probably end up like the last round I tried on. I thought they were all nice and I did find one I liked, but it didn't compare to the dress I already had. I didn't really want a train and I don't really want a veil. I have a nice tiara with a heart on it that i am going to wear. my theme is hearts so it will go perfectly. thanks for the advice. I think just to put my mind at ease I am going to try some others on and if i don't find one no loss. If i do then i will donate my dress to a prom closet or something like that.

My personal favorite is T8615. It looks similar to the dress that i tried on, but I can't pull it off.

I have 3 dresses. The first one i bought wasn't really me, so I went and found a different one, one that I fell in love with. but unfortunately, I did like you, bought it because it was on sale and I didn't want it to be gone if I changed my mind and wanted it. but now looking at it, it's all stained and it's ivory (and i want a white dress) so i ended up borrowing a friends dress whose wedding i served in. it fits me like a glove and makes me feel like a princess and I didn't even have to pay for it!

I love the original dress that you chose, but if you're not 100% satisfied with it, you may want to get something that you are going to love yourself in.

Exclamation Re: Second guessing dress

Honestly - your dress is just as pretty if not more so than the other dresses that you're looking at.

I know that we all get really nervous and second guess everythign when we're planning our wedings (or maybe it's just me but girl - you have an amazing dress. The only reason you are doubting it is because you *think* that because it was on sale it is somehow inferior.

Stop beating up on yourself for trying to be responsible about your budget. And stop lookng at other dresses and hand-wrining. You have a great dress. You will look amazing. And you were smart enough not to blow your whole budget on the dress so you'll have $$$ left over to get other stuff - like a wedding Kudos.

The only thing to do if you're not confident abotu the dress.... Look at what you're planning to do with your hair, splurge on your wedding day makeup, get some great accessories.

If you don't have your wedding day jewelry yet - I worked with an *AMAZING* designer to have mine custom made. It's the most awesome keepsake, and I know my designer could do beautiful stuff with your colors.... Let me know if you're interested, I'll get you her contact info.

I agree with you gals, I think the original is a beautiful dress. If it will make you happy, try on other dresses. Have you tried on your dress with all of your accessories yet to get the whole picture? If in the end, you aren't happy, then get rid of the dress you have and get a new one. But if you decide to keep your dress, do like willmarrybarry said and splurge on something great for yourself.
