Hello All,
I have a little problem.... One of my bridesmaids has had to dropout... Not her fault in anyway... her husband is in the military and she was recently told by him that they may have to move to Germany. She is not 100% certain but she doesn't want to invest all the time and money on both our parts just to possibly find out last minute that she won't be able to be in it.... I can understand completely where she is coming from and totally agree (she was actually very worried I would be mad at her! NEVER!) Anyway... I guess my little problem is that we will have uneven sides. I have been reading a TON of wedding books and I have heard that it's not uncommon to have uneven sides.. but I was just wondering if anyone is having uneven sides or has been to a wedding with uneven sides? I guess my main concern will be when it comes to taking pictures. And some people are acting like it is so weird that I will be doing this... So, please, anyone out there who has some advice, it would be much appreciated!! Thank you! ~Caryssa~ |

The wedding is in April, about 9 months away.... I thought about asking someone else, but 1) I was afraid if I asked someone they would feel like second fiddle, and 2) I don't really have anyone else I would want to be in it... I feel like I would just have to settle and ask someone... You know?

Yes I have been to a wedding with uneven sides! My friends got married in Florida and had to make do with what attendants could show since we live in St. Louis, MO. The bride had less attendants then the groom so she just had two guys with one girl to even up the walking and it was nice it didn’t look out of place at all.
Don't Worry no one will even think about it except us brides everyone else will think you are being original or creative. ![]() |
