We are having a destination wedding. We live in Florida but are having out wedding in Michigan.
I have lots of help since both of our familys are there. I have a few ideas if anyone needs any help with their destination wedding. Are you prepared? Have questions? Need some ideas? Are you nervous, stressed or excited? Where are you getting married? How did you find your place? What made you deside on a destination wedding? Share all we would love to hear. |

I had a destination wedding, living in MN, I got married in ID. My advice is hire a wedding coordinator. Mine was actually not that expensive ($500 or so) and she helped me find everything from flowers to photographers and had many inside secrets that helped me plane the wedding from far away. SHe knew a lot of venders and had done many wedding over the years.
Another thing you need to do is splurge on a few trips back to where the wedding is planned to make sure everything is place, especially 3 and 6 months before the wedding. Have friends being extra suitcases to haul back all the gifts, or request that they be shipped to your home address on your registration cards. Good luck! |
