Hi everyone, My name is Amanda. My one year anniversary is this September on the 30th! What a wonderful year.

I work as a Social Worker for a Long Term Care center near my home. My husband is Firefighter/Paramedic for DCFD. We don't have any children yet, unless you count our mischevious 11-month-old Golden Retriever "Maggie."

To get myself through college, I began working as a Floral Designer as well as a Sales Associate for Zales. I've become somewhat of an expert on flowers and jewerly and also absolutely obsessed with them both lol. I still do floral design for friends and family, and those who have been refered to me by friends and family. I will post my portfolio as soon as I get a chance. Right now I have to run off to get dressed for my Cousin-In-Law's wedding (and for those of you who are also wedding-picture-crazy like me, I will try to post some pictures of that too!). Anyway, if I can help anyone out with anything I will certainly try to.

I was wondering what part of PA you are from? I am from Shippenburg and know tons of DC firefighters because of my dad and brother being firefighters!

Thank you so much! We live in Oxford, PA. We have a DC firefighter friend in Coatesville and one (who actually isn't with the department anymore) in Pheonixville. We may have some friends in common! lol.
