I'm Jamie, just got engaged to my guy of two years, Jared, on February 6th.

I'm a senior at CSUF, graduating in August with a B.A. in Mass Communications/Entertainment Studies. I work for Roxy in the entertainment marketing and events department...love, love, LOVE the ocean!

My fiance is a U.S. Marine and is currently deployed to the sandbox...but for the last time, hooray!

We plan on a beach wedding in September 2009, because we are both surfers and total beach bums. I've been looking around but I am totally overwhelmed, this wedding planning is madness!

Ah... we have something in common! My fiancee of 7 years is a surf bum (and I say that lovingly of course...) as well!

We want a beach wedding as well... Our dream is Hawaii because of course he is dying to go... the logistics of getting family and friends out there is of course difficult. We live in Florida, most of my family is on the east coast and my brother in Germany for 2 years. So I am considering a beach wedding in our second favorite place Key West since it is closer to home and then a honeymoon in Hawaii. I don't know if he will agree to that yet though... LOL!
