I just wanted to give a heads up to all. I know in a few of my posts, I've said how great annsbridalbargains.com is. I recieved my most recent order from them yesterday, and on the invoice it says I own them $2.18. I found that hard to believe because I always tripple check my calculations. I refigured my order again and it all added up the same. The product I ordered was $12.00, I live in MA so I added my 5% tax which brings it to $12.60. According to the printable order form, any orders up to $19.99, add $6.50 for regular shipping...so I did that as well, bringing my total to $19.10 ~ and that is what I made the money order for. So, why in the heck am I being charged an additional $2.18 ?
I logged onto their site and started up a live chat with one of their reps. She said the extra charge was from UPS for fuel surcharges. Nowhere on their printable order form, does it state this charge. To top it off, my first order I placed with them, just last month, never had any additional ' UPS fuel ' charges. I told the rep that I could possibly understand this sort of charge if my order was exceptionaly large, but how do you explain my first order being much larger than my last and not getting this charge then? I just personaly think this is bad business on their part. They need to let customers know of any and all charges. After I politely complained, the rep said I would be credited back that $2.18.
I just think it's a real shame. No, $2.18 isn't a lot of money, but it's the moral of it all. Every customer needs to know exactly what they're paying for. I already gave this company about $100.00. And all you brides out there know how precious money can be at this time in our lives. I don't mean to bash this company. I just feel it's my duty to give everyone a warning ~ especially when I've been praising this company for the last 4 months.
