Default need help understanding

so, as some of you know, my may wedding is pretty much postponed due to finaces. we still have options, from next may or maybe this dec., or eloping.
what im wanting to know is... what's the "special meaning" behind 8/8/08? i know that 7/7/07 was special cuz the lucky number, and the bible, etc. just wanted to know what the 8's mean?

i have been planning an asian themed wedding reception and came across some stuff while looking through everything one one of the sites i've been looking at... apparently... 8's in chinese culture mean prosperity. :-)

Not only that, but if you turn an 8 on it's side, it becomes the symbol for infinity. I know a lot of couples are playing with that idea.
