Just wondering I'm having an engagement party and i have a question .. What is the etiquette on favors.. am I suppose to have engagement favors??? not sure

Well... I had favors at my engagement party. They were the decorations. There were wedding cake candles, rings tied together with ribbons, homeade candies that were wedding themed, and little swans.
