My mom works at the post office and she says that a lot of wedding invitations do get torn up in the mail. The reason being is with the invite, the reponse card, and whatever else jammed into one envelope, they normally get ripped open on the machines. If that is the case, they try to tape/fix them and mail them or try to return to sender. You could try calling the p.o. you sent them from and see if they have any of your invite that got torn up.

Odds are though, it's probably just that your guests haven't replied becuase they have overlooked the date. I would give it a few more weeks then if you aren't getting any at all, I would definately start calling people.

Well, I probably won't worry about it too much. The caterer is booked for a minimum of 130 people, and if most of the people that haven't replied come, we will have about that number of people. I just want to make sure that people got them and they aren't going to be disappointed that they weren't invited. Guess I will drop hints with FFIL (he is close with that part of family) and make sure everyone knows they are invited.

I find I am going through cycles of freaking out and then not caring at all about anything. My bridal shower is Saturday (a little late, but was only date that worked) and people are asking me for details and I feel bad because at this point I am pooped and I don't care. I am sure that when the day gets here I will care, but at this point I am sleep deprived to stress about it.

I was like that 2. When is the big day? Im getting more excited, mies only 8 days away and tomorrow is my bachelorette party! woot woot! But everything is coming together and i cant wait until the wedding day. I so glad that my MOH quit, all the stress is gone!

5 Days!!! woot woot! and by time anybody reads this it will be 4 days! I cant wait, but i still have so much to do, but just little things nothing big. Come to find out the my FH told all his men that there was no rehearsal. WTF! So now i have to have all the men that he told that to, that they have to take off of work! jez!

Trust me, we are all feeling frazzled and need a place to vent (especially those of us getting close to the day). I also just payed the fnal on the caterer and my tax rebate (which should come in this week) is going to pay for the cake. We have ordered the rings and they are being resized and all, but will hopefully be reay forthe big day (I ws told they should be ready the weekend before, so fingers crossed). The last things I have to do is finish flowers, pay for and pick up tuxes, pay for church and hall, and then hair the day of. Think that is it (or at least the big ticket items.)

Delegate some of your items to other bridesmaids, mother's and friends. This is supposed to be your day...........enjoy it.

OMG! 2 DAYS!!! Now its crunch time! Yesterday i had my makeup practice run, that went well, and today its off the the nail salon to get the mani and pedi and then to go to the flower studio and look and my flowers that just got finished today! And then i have to start packing and we leave tomorrow morning!! Im so excited i cant wait. * I know what your talking about restingdonkey, handing over the money has to be the worst part of the whole wedding, but i guess its great in the long run!
