Red face Countdown Stress..?

Hey all
I'm just wondering who here is getting close to their wedding date?

We're down to 16 days and I'm SO excited!

But I'm also a little nervous...not about getting married or anything, but just that I will forget something.

Do I have all my makeup?
What did I do with my garter?
I've got something old and new but what about borrowed and blue?
Is there a punch bowl at the reception site?
Are we having a wedding party dance? If so, what song?
Do we have anything to put the cards in?

Ugh, these are a few of the many questions that run through my head (especially when I'm trying to get to sleep)... Just wondering if anyone else is feeling the "countdown stress"

I am starting to get those jitters too. I am not at all nervous about the marriage, just the logistics of the wedding. I have got to the point now though that I am caring less about the wedding day, and just going with the flow. Still have to give ginal numbers, make all the flowers (as in sculpt out of clay and then arrange - I know, I'm crazy), figure out hair, finish making BM dresses, figure out cake flavors, make favors, and pack up all of my stuff for when we move. I'm sure there is more, but that is all I can think of for now, but with having 13 hour days and then getting home to do all of that and try to fit in a new work-out program, I cannot and don't really want to think of the rest.

Oh my gosh...you have WAY more on your plate than I do! You say you're crazy for making the flowers, but then right after say you've got to finish making the BM dresses! I'd be ready for the asylum if I were in your shoes--course I don't have a creative bone in my body so that would be mostly why, haha.
You mentioned packing for a move, which reminded me that I have to pack for the honeymoon and have my house presentable for my mom to stay the week with my son there...forgot about that, ahh!!
Well, hopefully it will all fall into place (like everyone seems to be telling me) Good luck with your plans also.
Btw, when is yours?

Hello and welcome
I'm not really that nervous about forgetting anything huge, that's all covered... It's all of the little things that aren't on my month-to-month countdown "to do" lists that I'm worried about missing. There seems to be more and more I think of every day!
I'm sure it will all work out in the end like everyone keeps telling me, but that doesn't stop my brain from going over and over all the details trying to figure out what I may have forgotten.
But it is nice to know that there are others in the same boat!
When is your wedding?

My wedding is May 17th... just realized last night that we still have to get the wedding bands (not making those). Hopefully that doesn't take too long for them to come in in our sizes.

One thing that I would say is deffinately don't get rid of notes, planners, diary entries etc until after the wedding day. Had a huge mess of a time last night trying to find some info because I though "I won't need this again" so I got rid of my notes. Bah going crazy, but I get to pick up my wedding dress after the alterations and do the final fitting next week, so all is coming along.

Flowers are moving along nicely too... roped my mom into helping me.

tiffany, I can relate to how you are feeeling about every little detail. I am like that when it comes to whatever, so I can only imagine how I am going to be before my wedding (we have over a year so I'm still good) you mentioned month-to-month checklists. I would make yourself a list of all the little things you think of, as you think of them. I do that alot and then i just make a word document with boxes so i can check them off. It may be a little more work in your already WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too busy life, but I'm sure it will help A LOT when the big day comes. Hope that helps!

Wow, I think I would kill my MOH if she dropped out less than two weeks before my wedding. Best of luck to you!
