Hi All!
I'm new to this forum, and actually I'm not "supposed" to be planning yet. But its so hard to resist! I have one more month of college, and then about 17 months until we get married!!!! Thus the reasoning that I *should* be waiting at least until after college. Our college has a joke of being the "Nuptial Univerity"... but I'm starting to think it is true. Congratulations to everyone! ![]() |

I think the longer you have to plan the more majical the day will be.
If you plan now, then you will be able to get what you want. If you plan early then you dont have to worry closer to the day. I started to plan a year in advance and i'm glad I did as its just a walk in the park now. so plan as soon as you can. Stuff like booking the hall, church, picking invitations, place setting or get the bridal bible, it has a check list in it that tells you what to get. |

I totally agree! The more time to plan the better!!! Reception venues and such need to be booked like a year in advance and most dresses need to be ordered and take 6 months to come in!! And then you need time for the alterations! I started planning as soon as we got engaged, and it makes it a lot easier!! I have everything done 5 months b4 the wedding!!!! Its a lot less stressful!

Oh yes, we will be planning far in advance. and making use of all the deals we can get because OF beginning with a year and a half. But its so much fun to start planning, and what I should be doing is making use of the last month of school and keeping up with homework.
I'm so glad that everything is turning out smoothly for ya'll. Its encouraging to be reminded of the upsides of a long engagement. As long as we do start planning and not leave it til the last 6 months, it should work out to be Beautiful. |
