Hi! I am getting married on August 8, 2008 at Victoria's Patio, Las Vegas.

I am feeling a little worried since our coordinator at the place quit her job 2 weeks ago. I am now dealing with a new coordinator who seems unfamiliar with our previous arrangements. She even mentioned that our desired ceremony venue is booked already for another client. Our original contract states that we've booked the Outdoor Pavillion last September 2007. But she's insisting that I spoke to the old coordinator last February '08 to make necessary changes to move us indoor. Well, I never acknowledged her claims. She is now encouraging us to take the chapel instead! I am a little frustrated since we only tend to have a civil wedding in Vegas (not a church wedding). We've never considered a chapel since we're having the Church wedding in the Philippines in 2010. Our invitations are out and we even put up a website:

I currently work as a wedding coordinator in the Philippines and I am getting disappointed with what's happening with my OWN wedding. I've planned every detail of this event since last year and it saddens me that I might not even have my own dream wedding... I'd appreciate any advice... Thanks!

Well I would set up a meeting with this new coordinator ASAP and bring ALL the contracts that you signed. Have her show you where it says you wanted to have the indoor ceremony. If she can't provide proof that you signed to have the indoor, then you should be booked for the outdoor. Hopefully you can get it all straightened out.

The owner had to talk to a bride and groom and he asked them move back a couple of hours so we could have on outdoor ceremony. Thank God! I feel so relieved now! I'm excited to finalize our wedding details when we get to Vegas..
