Hi everyone & congratulations to all of us!!!!

Here's my question....

A few weeks after our engagement, my fiancee (who is in the Army) mentioned that we needed to find the ceremonial swords so we could do the sword arch thing (you know, walk under the arch of swords & all that stuff). About 2 weeks later I admitted that I had forgotten to look into it. Then just barely loud enough for me to hear him (we were on the phone) he says that there's one part of the tradition that he hopes I don't find out about.

I didn't think much of it because I had other things on my mind.

But about a week ago I accidently (in doing research) found out what it is he was trying (not very hard) to keep secret...
As the bride & groom pass under the arch of swords, the last pair drop their swords barring the way. The bride & groom kiss, the swords are raised & they continue through the arch. BUT as they start to walk again, the swordsman on the brides side smacks her on the butt & says Welcome to the Army Maam!

This is sooooo totally my fiancee! We're both pulling stuff like this all the time.

Now I don't want to ruin his fun. I want to let him enjoy this. He's really looking forward to it & I donn't want to rain on his parade. But I do want a little retaliation/reaction of my own. I don't want him to totally get away with it. See, the thing is he thinks he's going to embarass me. But I have to have my turn too. Gotta keep them on their toes!!!!

Has anyone seen or heard (or even done) anything like this?
Any ideas for a little prank of my own?

i saw this on whose wedding is it anyway. i think it looks so cute when they hit the womans butt. hehe what about at the reception, you make a toast. ask all the men if they could please give back the keys you have given them in the past. to have them bring them up to the front. before you give the toast when walkin around give some men spair keys. hehe
