Hi all!
I'm having trouble deciding who to invite and who not to invite....... I have been married before (in a courtroom with no guests), and I have been single for 21 years (I can't believe I'm getting married after so long), so do I invite EVERYONE who I work with? (all the girls are just dying to come) plus I have all those friends from over the years who have heard me say "I'll never get married again", they are all so excited that I finally found a man who I can trust and love (very bad ending to the first marriage, after years of abuse)........HELP! Any tips will be appreciated! Karebear |

We are also not having a sit down reception.....just cake and punch.....no alcohol either.......but everyone still wants to be invited to the wedding, our recption is immediately following the ceremony in the church.

I like the idea of a small wedding with a big reception and low cost food. We however are inviting everyone to both, we are also having a roasted pig, and some picnic type salds, the cake and we will have beverages for all. but you should invite those you are the closest and realted to tothe wedding and everyone else can come to reception.

I love the idea of a large wedding and small dinner and large reception.
I ordered 25 invitations to the dinner and 100 to the reception. Everyone even long time friends are understanding, they just want to be there for the wedding and reception. |

Unless you have an umlimited budget, and can invite everyone you know (and if so, LUCKY YOU!) I'd say: invite the people who will really "make your day." If you can't imagine the day being perfect without them, then they have to come! If it won't change your day either way, they don't need to be there.
Good luck! and congrats ![]() |
