We're talking about going to Costa Rica for our honeymoon so we can do a lot of adventure stuff, which we both love! We want to kayak, do canopy tours, snorkel, and hike as well as relax on the beach and shop at local markets. Has anyone been to Costa Rica and have any advise on where the best places to go are?

We are going to Costa Rica too. We bought one of those thick travel guides. The one we got has a list of the best hotels, forests, dining, beaches, adventures, ect. I told my fiance to pick out and plan our trip so I don't know where we are going but with all the forests and beaches and volcanos, I can't wait to be there.

If you are looking for a place "off the beaten path", check out Roatan (a tiny island off the coast of Honduras). I was thinking of going there on vacation. My friends have been there and said it was amazing. I think it's considered on of the last undiscovered islands in the Carribean. I'd consider it as well.
