Default My Soon to Be Hubby Refuses to Fly

OK here's the deal, I wanna go away for our honeymoon (who doesn't) but my soon to be refuses to step foot on an airplane. I would love to go someplace tropical or something like that and he wants to go to the lake. Wow a lake big freakin deal, I've been there and done that a million times. Even if we didn't go somewhere tropical I would be ok with it. I've always wanted to see Maine or Montana or Wyoming or someplace like that but I refuse to try to drive that distance. Any advice on how I can get my honey to fly?

Many of us got together recently and went to Hawaii. After booking the trip with 10 rooms paid for we found out that one of our neighbors was afraid to fly. This was going to be an issue since we had non-refundable tickets.
He went to a local doctor and explained what his issue was. The doctor gave him a couple of pills and told him when and how to take them. He was fine for the 8 hour flight to Hawaii and back. In fact he has flown since without pills.
Try this? Good Luck!

I still get nervous to fly! I flew fine when I was younger but we went to San Juan this summer and I was flipping out getting on the plane and taking off! Most doctors will give you something for anxiety and you can get on a plane with it! Just don't be a blonde like I was and open a bottle of sprite right after take off! Bad idea, cool volcano effect, bad idea!

Hmmm... Try to consult some therapist on that. :-)

Perhaps you could actually get him to fly. And it's for the good of both of you.

Best wishes!
