My dad has been kind of a not so nice person lately, and my fiances' family ( brothers and sister-in-laws ) are helping us with wedding expenses too, along with my mom and other family members. Would it be wrong to say in the invites The families of blah and blah rather then Dad and Step mom: mom and step dad , and dad and mom invite you??
also since one sister in law is paying for invites and over 14 lines is extra????????![]() Last edited by jcgsoon2bp : 04-16-2007 at 10:02 PM. |

Hi, here is my thinking- yes I think you should include him because even though he might not be so nice I think you are very lucky that you still have him in your life, so please honor him with at least that. Because my dad died a few months ago and I am faced with the fact that I have to walk down the asile alone! So please hold him dear because he is your dad.

To be honest I think that's gonna be way to many people to add to the invite. I would say either parents or no one just you and the groom this way there's no hard feelings. But you could add maybe a little line thanks to so and so. Or on your wedding programs say your thanks. My one soon to be sister in law is helping us and we planned to make a speacial thank you annoucement for her help finically. And we're planning on getting her a gift also. Maybe you could try this also. Good luck.
