For all the single people on our list should we address the invites to that person plus guest?

What if we know they are not dating anyone would they then feel obligated to bring someone or is it still a nice thing to do since then they know they could bring a guest if they want. If we don't put "and guest" does that send out the message that no guest is invited?

If you have the budget to put "& Guest" for all single people, I would do it. I don't think people will feel obligated to bring someone, it's just a nice gesture. If you know that the person has been dating someone for a long time, I would be sure to include that person's name on the invitiation instead of "& Guest".

I agree I would address them with "and guest". I was very happy when my soon to be husbands friends put my name on the invite too.
