Default Making my own invites

Ok, I think I have decided to make my own invitations, and have come up with some cute ideas. Does anyone know of some great software I could use to put them together and print them, or is there special paper I should use and where should I get it? Should I use hand-made cut outs on it, or is that just tacky and look like I'm in pre-school. Help!

Hi Justina - not sure if this page will help you but try out Wedding Cards for Brides and Marriage

some are childish but some are workable. Good luck.

Justina - scratch that. I found a pretty good customizable and free place to download - just add paper, ribbon etc and your done!

A lot of your craft stores have kits that have the blank cards and envelopes and all you have to do is go online and get the templates from the web site they tell you to you could also try wilton.com or even orientaltrade.com to get your invitation kits

Are you sure you want to do the invites yourself? Wedding planning can be very hectic and focusing your energy on little details may not be advisable.

As much as I'm not a fan of Microsoft (I'm a Mac user), they're program called "Publisher" does a really great job of helping the novice layout high-end products. You just have to make sure to avoid bad clip-art, and overly ornate typefaces. I recommend anything in the Copperplate Gothic family! Check out dafont.com for free fonts if you need some!
