Okay everyone. I need help. I am at the 5 month mark and am in full speed ahead. Should I send the save the date cards now? My fh thinks it's too soon. He wants to wait till April. Our wedding is July 5. Invitations to go out June 1 - (too late?) HELP??!!!!!

I am getting married in May 2008 and just started a Doctorate program. So... to save what little sanity I have left... I'm getting it all done early. I sent out the save the date cards about 7 mo before the date and I'm sending the invites in 2 weeks... 3 mo before the wedding. I think most people wait but I need to plan! Hope this helps.

I hear you. I am working on my masters program. CAnt' imaging how much harder doctorate is. I decided to send out my save the date cards this weekend. THat leaves 5 months. I only have approximately 50-65 guests so that should be okay. Best of luck.
