Default Re: Advice for wedding invitations on a tight budget?

Hello, my friend used the invitions from walmart. She loved them and they came out really nice. But she also took alot of time doing them.

I know on invitations by dawn they have like all in one invites. They come all together with the rsvp card attached to them. And all you have to do is address it to the person, it even comes with printing of your address. I picked these and it's gonna be $112 for 100 of them.

You'll still have to buy thank you cards though, but since thank you cards come later they don't have to match and you could just pick up ones cheap at walmart or a craft store.

I don't know if Michael's craft stores are nationwide, but they put out a 40% off coupon every couple of weeks for one item in the store. You get all of your friends to dig through their newspapers and either go buy invitations for you or you can just keep going in the store (it's one coupon per visit). I only need one more pack of invitations (50 per pack for about $19.25 after discount). Then you can print them on your computer, but my fiance's cousin has a printing company so they're printing them for us!

Great post......I swear I need ideas...even though my wedding isn't until 09 (because we are paying for everything ourselves) I didn't want to spend to much on invitations....
