Hello! I need a little help with something pertaining to wedding gifts. My husband and I aren't sure what we need or want, except that money always helps. We would rather have people give money as wedding gifts so that we can put it towards a house or even a car or honeymoon. How do we go about writing an informal note to go along with the invitations that asks this of our guests without looking like jerks? I suggested we just don't say anything and let them decide but we aren't sure...any suggestions? Thanks...Mel

There's a great article over at the Wedaholic.com that talks about this.
The Etiquette Of Asking For Cash Wedding Gifts According to them, it seems that a lot of couples have the same dilemma. I think the best tip is to spread the word amongst friends and family. That way, when they get asked about it, they can relay your wishes. Hope this helps. Related Search: Word Wedding Invitations for Cash
