Default Something borrowed/old??

Ok, so I have my something blue, my something new, and something that can be borrowed or old. It's my FMIL's pin that she's had forever and I'm going to pin it to my bouquet. I just need another idea for something that can be one of those things. Any ideas? What are you guys doing?

What about an old coin (they are easy to find)? you could tape it to your shoe, if you have high heels (dont want anyone sliding accross the floor b/c the penny go slippy!)

Just remember that it doesnt have to be visible. I am probably pinning my to the underside of my dress.

what about a old coin that could be taped to the bottom of your shoe? Or borrow an anklet from a friend? I saw someone else "borrowed " money from someone.

Thumbs up Re: Something borrowed/old??

My something old and something blue:

One of my FSIL's best friends is a jewelry designer. She designs one-of-a-kind jewelry and I had my bridal jewelry done by her. Even though it's brand new and designed just for me, she actually uses all kinds of really unique vintage beads, so that she builds a 'something old' right into your jewelry.

Blue kind of really doesn't go with my dress, so she put just one, tiny little super rare blue diamond bead into the necklace, right next to the clasp - so it's a really unique, super rare and special something blue, but it's tiny so it doesn't interfere with the overall look of the necklace.

She's really awesome to work with, she takes tons of time with her clients and she makes stuff that is just so amazing that I'm on a mission to help other brides and help my designer's business by telling everyone about her. You girls will totally love working with her if you want something super unique. Her email is designs.by.danusia@gmail.com

As far as the old coin. I read in one of my wedding planning books that the rest of the rhyme is something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a six-pence in your shoe (suppose to be good luck). It said that the modern day equivilant would be a dime.
