My grandmother passed away in Sept 2006 and I inherited her pearls. I had wanted to wear them to my wedding and to start a tradition of such (ie. my daughter and other members of my family using them for their own weddings eventually) but now that I have bought my dress they don't quite go (my dress is white with white beading and the pearls are more cream). Any ideas on how to be able to wear them. This is really important to me-to the point that I am having doubts about "MY PERFECT DRESS".

I have a couple recommendations. You could attach the pearls to your garter, which can make it even more personal to wear them. You could somehow wind it in your hair to make it a hairpiece or attach it to your veil piece. Even though you love the pearls, you can incorporate them in ways that its not the focal point around your neck. Good luck
