What are your plans/ideas about wedding photos before or after the ceremony? My FH and I have discussed this at length and I am still undecided. I see the pros and cons to both. I really want the first time he sees me to be when I am walking down the aisle, but I also like the idea of having them before hand so we can go right to our reception site after the ceremony. What are you ladies doing for your photos?

For my first wedding we took all individual pictures before the ceremony and all of us together afterwards.
Keep in mind doing this also meant some of the guest saw me before the wedding as we were not done by the time quests started arriving.
My second wedding we took all pictures after the ceremony.

I heard that taking pictures before hand is now becoming the way to do it. I personally disagree! I really want to see my fiance's face when I am walking down the aisle....plus I want the pictures after we are officially married not before. Just my opinion, but taking pictures beforehand was not an option for me....

I like the idea of taking individual picture before the wedding and the group photos after. I thought about having me and my BMs take our pictures and my and my family take our pictures and my FH can take his pictures with his GM and his family. That way we get some done before hand and then do the whole group ones after the ceremony.

My wife and I took individual pictures before the ceremony and reserve 1 hours to do picture for wedding party + just she and I at a beautiful park near by.
I think it's ok to take pictures after ceremony only, as long as you reserve enough time to the photographer.

I agree with almostmrsk. Pictures afterwards...there will be a totally different glow on your face after the ceremony ends that will show in your pictures that you will never be able to achieve again. My H2B and I plan on letting people take time to get to the reception while we take pictures, when the guests get there, they will be allowed to have some h'orderves and we thought about doing a projector with a screen and put a bunch of pictures of us in there from when we were little to pictures of us doing things together. That way, they won't be standing around bored waiting, and food and the pictures will give them something to do.

Before and after the ceremony I guess.U can remember how the process of ur ceremony began and ended.
