Default Mom's BF?

My mom has a fairly new boyfriend (less than a year relationship) and she want's to know if it's okay for him to walk her down to be seated and can he sit next to her. Neither of my parents are re married and they have a very amicable relationship...they still talk and have no ill will towards each other. I think either my dad or my fiancé should seat my mom. I don't think it's appropriate for the BF to sit in the front row with my parents and grandparents. I think he should sit with my mom's sisters...am I wrong? What is the proper etiquette? I also don't want my dad to be hurt so I want to consider his feelings too. Thoughts?

Hmmmm...

Well, personally, I think your Mom and Dad should be sharing this moment with you, and not her new boyfriend... I am sure your Dad would want to walk with you. :-)

But your whole family should decide on the matter.
