My fh and i were dating long distance cause he is in the military. When i came to visit him he was really excited about taking me ice skating. it sounded like fun, but stuff kept coming up that i wanted to do instead. finally after a week of him mentioning it like twice a day i said ok lets go. so we went and after like 10 minutes of falling and fumbling around looking like dorks and laughing hysterically, he pulled me into the middle of the rink, got down on one knee, and asked if i would share his last name. i was SO surprised and happy! (said yes obviously)

later he told me that he had been going crazy waiting for me to finally want to go ice skating!
