Amongst all the things that I collect, I collect crystal that I have in a curio cabinet that my boyfriend (now fiancee) bought me for my birthday. I was really excited to finally have something very nice to display my crystal in and liked the way that it sparkled when the lights shown down on it. Of course when I first got the cabinet, I spent a long time making sure my crystal was displayed just how I wanted it.

One night, when I was sitting on my couch watching TV I looked acrossed the room and noticed that my swan was where my violin used to be and that my violin was where my piano used to be. In confusion, I walked over to the cabinet and proceeded to complain to my BF that someone had been in the cabinet moving things around. That is when I saw it, an engagement ring sparkling more than the rest, in the middle of all the crystal. I grabbed the ring and didn't know what to say. My BF smiled, took the ring from my hand and got down on one knee to propose properly.

Now I don't complain if my crystal is moved because you never know what will be hidden amongst it.
